Cookie Policy
The short version
We set a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to work at all. Everything else is optional, off by default, and controlled by you through the cookie banner or the preferences link in our footer.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cannot be switched off, because switching them off breaks signing in and breaks the protections that keep your session yours.

The consent cookie deserves a note: remembering that you said no is not something you should have to say yes to. It holds a random identifier and nothing else — no categories, no identity — and it cannot be read by any third party script.
Analytics cookies
Off unless you enable them. They tell us which pages people read and where they lose interest.
Advertising cookies
Off unless you enable them. These let advertising platforms measure whether an ad we paid for reached somebody who actually needed a signing tool. Enabling them means those platforms can receive information about your visit.

Where advertising cookies never load
Advertising and analytics tags load on our marketing pages only. They do not load on a signing page, on any page inside the application, or on any page showing document content — regardless of what you consented to.
This is deliberate and worth stating plainly. Somebody signing a document did not choose us, has no account with us, and is reading a private agreement. Tracking them would undercut the exact thing this product sells.

Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer at any time. Declining costs you no functionality.

Strictly necessary Always on
Keeps you signed in, protects forms against cross-site submission, and remembers your cookie choices — including a refusal. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
Analytics
Tells us which pages people read and where they lose interest, so we can fix the confusing parts. Never used on signing pages or inside the application.

Advertising
